Ingredients:
115g butter/margarine
50g sugar
110g dark brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
170g plain flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp or a pinch of salt
170 g chocolate chips ( i used nly half of ths as i didn't like lots of chocolate chips n it)
55 g walnuts (jst check while mixing & then add...ths one also i didn't add full)

Method
Preheat the oven to 180 degree or gas 4. Grease large baking sheets.
With an electric mixer, cream the butter or margarine anad two sugars together until light and fluffy.
IN another bowl, mix the egg and vanilla, then gradually beat into the butter mixture.sift over the flour, baking soda and salt and stir.
Add the chocolate chips and walnuts, and mix to combine well.
Place heaped teaspoonfulls of the dough 2 in /5 cm apart on the prepared sheets. bake until lightly coloured, 10-15 minutes. transfer to a rack to cool.
baking time depends on oven...the cookies will turn crispy nly after letting it cool completely...bake till its color turns brown
